Mid-1960’s Dean Chance Game-Worn Angels Cap

Dean Chance was the owner of an unorthodox pitching style, but it was a style that earned him the 1964 AL Cy Young Award with the California Angels. The lively-armed hurler wore this size “7” Angels cap in the mid-’60’s. The piece exhibits very light wear, as only faint staining is visible on the inside. Chance’s number “31” is markered in black on the underside of the visor. This highly collector-popular style also has a silver embroidered halo showcased on the crown.
