Mid/Late-80’s Kevin Bass Houston Game-Worn Astros Batting Helmet

Kevin Bass was one of those raw players with the uncommon combination of power and speed. He used those assets to help lead Houston to the NL title in 1986, a season in which he hit .311 with 20 HR and 22 stolen bases. Offered here is a batting helmet that Kevin wore during the mid/late-80’s. This shell shows medium use, with traces of field dirt and sweat stains. The back of the helmet has the proper “ABC” logo and the interior has been properly markered twice, “17” – once on the “American Baseball Cap [size] 7 1/4” sticker.
