Description

Mike “Hit Man” Easler enjoyed a distinguished 14-year major league career. After retirement, he became a batting coach where he tutored Albert Pujols during his rookie year. Offered is the bat Easler used to connect on his first hit for the Yankees on April 10, 1986 (off Brett Saberhagen). Easler used a Rickey Henderson Louisville Slugger T141 bat which shows a light layer of pine tar near the trademark and it also has a 1 1/2″ crack. Easler’s number “17” is written on both ends in black felt tip. A letter from Mike will be provided to the winner. This bat is a Henderson model but was used exclusively by Easler.
