Mitzy Shore: Hollywood Star L.A. Comedy Award

The mother of comedian Pauly Shore and the long-time owner of the Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, Mitzi Shore helped establish the careers of dozens of the most famous comics in the world. Two things prevented her from accepting this award in 2014 at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood. One was the misspelling of her name. Not a big deal, right? Not to her rep’s. The second was the health issues she had recently developed. Those issues would eventually get the better of her and she passed away at her home on April 11^th, 2018.
