In the 1970s, Muhammad Ali need a break. A break from all the media attention and a way to train in solitude. The answer was simple go to Deer Lake in Pennsylvania and set up camp. Ali would run on the local country roads, use the gym to spar and study past fights on film.
Presented is a vintage purple wool tossle hat that was part of that time period he was at Deer Lake. The cap is purple/white wool with an Ali logo patch on front touting, “MUHAMMAD ALI THE GREATEST”. It shows some aging/wear.
