Norm Cash Signed Photo and Baseball
Out of stock
Former first baseman Norm Cash died suddenly and prematurely in a boat accident, but not before he produced one of the most spectacular and inexplicable seasons in modern history. Stormin’ Norman signed this “Special League” baseball in blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot, the grade of which has evolved to “6-7” over time. Cash also executed his name in blue marker (“9”) on an 8 x 10 photograph that pictures him in a Detroit Tigers uniform. In 1961, Cash hit .361, slammed 41 home runs and drove in 142 runs, monster numbers that he did not approach in any of his other 16 seasons in the big leagues.
