NY Mets early ’80’s Warm-Up Jacket

Satin lined NY Mets sideline jacket with fleece lined body and light quilt lined sleeves. It has a seven-snap button front with leather tipped pockets. The sleeves, waist and collar trim is finished in three-color, five-striped stretch ribbed knit. “Mets” is sewn on in two-color navy-on-orange tackle twill. “45” is sewn onto the left sleeve just above the cuff in 2” orange tackle twill. The inner collar has the local Aladen Athletic Wear label with two flap tags designating [size] “L” and cleaning instructions. The jacket shows multiple season use as was standard for the era. It was probably worn by Jeff Reardon, Brent Goff or perhaps Bob Gibson as a coach during the ’81 season.
