The 1993 John Hancock Bowl was a college football postseason bowl game that featured the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Oklahoma Sooners. This was the fifth and final game in the sponsorship contract with John Hancock Insurance for the game otherwise known as the Sun Bowl. The Sooners won this one 41-10 over the Red Raiders.

Presented is an authentic Oklahoma Sooners jersey from the 1993 John Hancock Bowl. It is classic maroon red with the identifier of “93” screened on in white on the front/back/shoulders. Front tail tagging shows it is a Russell Athletic [size] 58 with the fabric flap. Nice patches adorn the chest area on both sides commemorating the 1993 John Hancock Bowl. The jersey shows minimal wear and is unattributed to any players on the team.
