One of kind, and NOT a blueprint. This is the instrument which blueprints would be generated from. Actual hand-rendered drawing used to plan and construct historic “Lakefront Stadium”, home to the Indians and football Browns for sixty-one years until its demolition in 1993. One of two offered in this catalog, it depicts the “Main Deck Diagram for Tickets”, and provides an actual overhead schematic of the stadium as fans would know it (versus extraneous architectural details). Features all Main Deck seating, and baseball and football fields. Dated, “04/21/31”, lines and details are all hand-drawn in pencil on the heavy textured onion-skin drafting paper favored in the era. States in type and text: “Client: City Of Cleveland, Lakefront Stadium, Cleveland Ohio.” Plus, “The Osborne Engineering Company of Cleveland OH, USA.” Simply an awesome display and genuine piece of history measuring a full 2 x 3 feet. Some expected crinkling at top due to normal handling and storage, but this important piece has survived 73 years in clean, crisp EX condition. This is a rare premium piece which deserves the attention, display and care of serious collectors and ballpark historians.
