Original 1942 WWII Office of War Information “If you talk too much THIS MAN MAY DIE” 15×20 Poster by Valentino Sarra

This poster shows a sailor looking out of a porthole. It is a warning to the American people to be careful what they say, “If you talk too much THIS MAN MAY DIE” . There was a tremendous fear of spies around our ports during WWII. Valentino Sarra is the artist. Sarra’s photography was legendary in 20th Century advertising. The 15×20 poster is from the Office of War Information (SARRA) and dated on the bottom 1942. It has a small puncture mark from storage (see photo) and quarter folds. Also to note, this item is wrapped in cellophane with a cardstock backing so the front sticker is not affixed to the poster itstelf.
