Description

This is a rare piece of the goal post from the old Foxboro Stadium (1971-2001) where the New England Patriots rise to Dominance all started back in the 2002 Snowbowl. On this goal post are the autographs of #4 Adam Vinatieri, #13 Ken Walter and #66 Lonie Paxton. The Final play in Foxboro Stadium to defeat the Oakland Raiders in a blinding snowstorm in the Snowbowl was a long snap from Lonie Paxton to the holder Ken Walter who lined up the football for Adam Vinatieri to drive a 45-yarder through the heavy flakes and through these uprights to take the Patriots to Super Bowl XXXVI. These three players handled the ball on the last play in the stadium and were instrumental in taking their team to Super Bowl XXXVI (36) to defeat the “Greatest Show on Turf” the St. Louis Rams! The post comes with a very nice custom wooden base with a beautiful plaque “The Final Season Foxboro Stadium 1971-2001” and the 8.5×11 custom team Letter of Authenticity from the Patriots. Put this very unique and rare conversation piece in your Patriots collect!

Team Letter, 100% Authentic Team
