Description

Paul Pierce was an exhibition basketball game that was played on February 26, 2012, during the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) 2011–12 season. It was the 61st edition of the NBA All-Star Game, and was played at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, home of the Orlando Magic. The Western Conference defeated the Eastern Conference, 152–149. Kevin Durant was named the All-Star Game Most Valuable Player.

Presented is a Paul Pierce game worn NBA All-Star shorts from 2014. The shorts are a special navy blue knit for the New Orleans All-Star Game.  All of the ingredients of a gamer on on this garment. Adidas waistband tagging shows the Length +2″, Climacool and [size] 3XL. “PP #31 2/2” is handwritten for identification in black felt tip.  The front is beautifully decorated with a New Orleans theme. It sports a NBA fleur de lis heat-sealed on the right thigh. Each side features white Adidas striping and a logo on the left side. The shorts shows great single-game wear with wrinkling. A photo style match from the game can be found on Getty images.

Interestingly, it was an item that came directly from Paul Pierce. Overall, it is a great NBA collectible by itself but since they were worn by Paul Pierce, it makes it that more special.
