Description

The 2006 NBA All-Star Game was played on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, home of the Houston Rockets. The game was the 55th annual All-Star game. The theme song was by Houston native Chamillionaire who made a new version of his hit “Turn It Up.” Trailing by 21 points, the East rode the hot shooting of LeBron James and the teamwork of the four All-Stars from the Detroit Pistons to a 122–120 victory over the West.

Presented is a 2006 NBA All-Star Game practice jersey worn by Paul Pierce. It is reversible with the “Houston ’06” logo on the blue side manufactured by Reebok. The white side features the All Star logo. The front patch on the blue side is Reebok – NBA Fusion with the 3XLT flap tag. The jersey shows general wear with wrinkling etc. Note, one tag on the white side was removed for comfort. In addition, “PIERCE 34” is on the front and back for player identification.

Interestingly, it was an item that came directly from Paul Pierce. Overall, it is a great NBA collectible by itself but since it was practice worn by Paul Pierce, it makes it that more special.
