The 2005 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition basketball game which was played on February 20, 2005, at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, home of the Denver Nuggets. This game was the 54th edition of the North American National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Game and was played during the 2004–05 NBA season.
For the second time in the last six years, the East defeated the West 125–115, with Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers named the Most Valuable Player. Iverson scored 15 points, handed out 10 assists, and had 5 steals. Ray Allen led the West with 17, and 5-for-11 from three-point range.
Presented is a 2005 NBA All-Star Game practice jersey worn by Paul Pierce. It is reversible with the “’05 DEN” logo (for Denver) on the blue side manufactured by Reebok. The white side features the All Star logo. The front patch on the blue side is Reebok – NBA with the 2XLT flap tag. The jersey shows general wear with wrinkling etc. Note, one tag on the white side was removed for comfort. In addition, “PIERCE 34” is on the front and back for player identification.
Also included are the matching Reebok shorts. They are also blue on the main side with the Denver All-Star logo on the thigh. The interior waistband shows they are NBA Fusion and have size 2XL Tall flap tag. They show great use overall.
Interestingly, these items came directly from Paul Pierce. Overall, it is a great NBA collectible by itself but since it was practice worn by Paul Pierce for an All-Star Game, it makes it that more special.
