Out of stock
Straight from the hey day of grunge music in the early 1990s comes this magnificent display. It features a handwritten apology note from the front man of the chart toppers Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder.
The top photo features the original members in a “fireside jam”. They are Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, and the band’s second drummer, Dave Abbruzzese. Each band member signed the black and white cover (from vinyl) below it from Vs. in blue felt tip (“9-10”).
This is back when Eddie Vedder and the band were rookies in touring. They were just starting to get traction in the U.S. on the charts. The album cover was signed at Civic Theater in San Diego Nov. 2, 1993.
Also showcased is an apology note from Vedder also signed at the venue. The handwritten note is to the consignor’s friend telling him that he can’t get him in the concert.
The note reads: “Note for Jerry S. – I’ve offered and I am sorry. There is nothing (illegible). I should have known I;m not God, that’s for sure. “Shouldn’t have thought I could help.” Eddie”
The display overall measures 28×28 and it includes a full letter of authentication from JSA.
