Donald Trump has done a little bit of everything in his career, businessman, reality tv star and heck, he made it to the Oval Office as President of the United States. While he did sign autographs for fans, obtaining his autograph has become an arduous task given the circumstances – and well, Secret Service agents around him.

This baseball was signed earlier in his career before the campaign trail and political journey. It is Trump’s full name signature on an American classic, a baseball. It is a OAL (Budig) ball signed by Trump in “9” black felt tip across the sweet spot. The baseball itself shows mild toning with age.

According to TMZ, “Love him or hate him, Donald Trump is killing it when it comes to the autograph market — with the value of DT signed baseballs more than doubling in price since he was in office.”

This ball is from one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of autographed baseballs in the world. Altogether they were easily displayable in custom shelf form and alphabetically displayed nonetheless. The choice of medium was visually easy for the encyclopedic collector who put these together. It took several decades to amass these rare autographs of the most prominent entertainers, historical figures, and sports players.  It proved quite difficult to acquire autographs of non-ballplayers on such an odd object (a baseball) but diligence proved otherwise and that it’s possible.
