Description
Raul Mondesí was traded by the Blue Jays to the New York Yankees on July 1, 2002 for Scott Wiggins. He played in 71 games for the Yankees that season and another 98 in 2003, hitting .250 with 27 home runs and 92 RBI. He had 3 hits in 12 at-bats for the Yankees in the 2002 American League Division Series against the Anaheim Angels.
Presented is one of his game used bats from his time with the New York Yankees. It is a reddish toned Louisville Slugger model B345 with his name engraved in the barrel along with block letter model/team detailing. The bat is uncracked and shows moderate use with hit marks on the barrel etc. The knob end has his jersey number handwritten in black felt tip 43 and the barrel end has other marking. Measures 34.5″.Also to note, the handle has some residue for grip.
