RIAA Platinum Record Award For Elton John “Yellow Brick Road”

Since 1970 Elton John has produced a continuous stream of hit records. As with any artist some works stand out as being more exceptional than others. In 1973 Elton recorded what is considered his finest work, “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” Offered is a RIAA Certified Platinum Sales Award Presented in the name of Elton John for the MCA Records release of Elton John “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” The Platinum Record Award is presented in recognition a 1,000,000 copies sold for the album cassette and cd. The award meets all of the criteria of Platinum records currently presented by the R.I.A.A. with their affixed hologram. The display is 18 1/2″ x 22 1/2″ and houses a platinum covered album, a platinum covered cassette and a CD as well.
