Rod Langway Game-Used, Autographed KOHO Hockey Stick

Out of stock

SKU: 46544 Category:

This Hall of Fame defenseman played the majority of his career with the Washington Capitals, which is the era this stick is from. Rod Langway won back to back Norris Trophies for the NHL’s best defenseman in 1983 and 84. This stick is a wooden KOHO that is all one piece, meaning there is no seam where the blade begins. The shaft of the stick measures about 50 inches with the blade being 12. On the blade black tape covers about 7 inches stopping about a half inch before the tip. On the top portion of the blade lies a wonderful Langway signature in black felt tip rating an (“8”). About 8 inches above that is a James Spence hologram to verify the autograph. The wear on the stick is moderate, with the tape still intact and no major defects to the stick. Though there are numerous black markings from contact with other sticks throughout the shaft, and at the top of the shaft the “Langway” stamp is almost worn completely off. The handle is taped down about 6 inches and directly under that is a hand written number “5”. To verify Langway’s use of this stick a Bob Sitnick “The Stick Doctor” LOA will accompany the item.
