The “Hot Rod”, Rowdy Roddy Piper was one of the WWE’s greatest in-ring specialists mixing technical skills with theatrical prowess. He arrived in the WWE as the Rock ‘n’ Wrestling era began to boom, Piper was perfectly at home. The splash, color and showmanship of the ’80’s was tailor-made for his wild-child persona. It was during this time that he went from being a star in the territories to a Superstar around the world.

The jacket features great embroidery from his famed wrestling segment, “IN THE PIT WITH PIPER – RODDY GETS ROWDY”. Interior label shows that it was made by awards USA [size] L. The collar/bottom border and sleeve ends are red/white. The pockets are accented with red leather. The jacket also includes a signed provenance letter from the Piper family.
