Ronald Reagan Signed Photo w/Rare Inscription “Win One for the Gipper” (Full JSA)

Ronald Reagan will be remembered as one of the top Commanders in Chief.  His signature is coveted by presidential collectors far and wide. Not long after his days in the White House were over, Regan disappeared from the public spotlight. He was even more guarded once he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.  The entire world mourned when Reagan died in 2004. A truly great American was lost forever.

When the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library was opened Nov. 4, 1991 in California, one astute collector had Reagan sign a few photos of him portraying George Gipp in the film Knute Rockne: All-American.

Reagan graciously signed this photo and offered the inscription "Win one for the Gipper" in black felt tip against the light background. Reagan inscriptions are almost non-existent in the hobby. This extra writing should make true collectors stand up and cheer. The penning rates a stellar "9" and honors a great American.
