Ronaldo, is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as a striker. Popularly dubbed “O Fenômeno” (The Phenomenon), he is widely considered to be one of the greatest football players of all time.

Ronaldo’s career with Brazil’s national team has come to an emotional end with a brief appearance in a friendly against Romania. He came on in the 30th minute and played until half-time, when there was a ceremony to mark his 18-year career. The 34-year-old retired in February having represented Brazil in four World Cups – picking up two winner’s medals of them – and remains the competition’s all-time leading scorer with 15 goals. He could not mark his farewell appearance with a goal but one of his successors in the national side, Fred, sealed the 1-0 win in Sao Paolo.

This genuine shirt was worn by Ronaldo during the 2006 World Cup for the Brazilian National Team. The blue shirt is made by Nike [L] made in Brazil. The number “9”, letters, CBF badge and the Nike logo are heat applied and are made of a special rubber material.  Brasil is embroidered on the back collar in yellow. The right sleeve features an official 2006 World Cup Germany patch affixed. Overall, shows mild wear from a great superstar.

The provenance COA is from the son of Brazil National Team shirts manager. It states that the jersey originated from his father’s collection and was match worn during the World Cup 2006.

Authentication: 100% Authentic Team & Provenance Letter
