Description
Rosey Rowswell was an American radio sportscaster, best known for being the first full-time play-by-play announcer for the Pittsburgh Pirates club, for whom he worked exclusively during 19 consecutive seasons. Rowswell was affectionately dubbed “Rosey” by baseball people and revering fans alike.
Presented is a piece of parchment (4×6) autographed in pencil by Rowswell. It was personalized to “Mary Elizabeth, happiness – KDA”. The paper measures and features compacting folds. Also included is a mini-photo (1.75″ x 2.75″) of Rowswell and a provenance letter.
