Description
Roy Halladay, pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies between 1998-13. His nickname, “Doc“, was coined by Toronto Blue Jays announcer Tom Cheek, and was a reference to Wild West gunslinger Doc Holliday. Halladay was announced as an inductee to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on January 22, 2019; he is the first posthumously-elected player since Roberto Clemente in 1973.
Presented is a baseball autographed by the new HOFer Halladay on the side panel. This ball is a special 2008 Official Rawlings All-Star baseball with blue threading throughout. It was signed in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) by the new HOFer Doc. Overall, a great signed baseball from a talented player.
Authentication: Global Authentics (sticker only)
