Description
Roy Tarpley played the power forward and center positions in the National Basketball Association (NBA), earning an NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 1988. Tarpley was banned from the NBA because of his drug and alcohol abuse. He had great success playing in Europe, most notably for Olympiacos and Aris.
Mark Aguirre was chosen as the first overall pick of the 1981 NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks after playing three years at DePaul University. Aguirre played in the NBA from 1981 until 1994 and won two championships with the Detroit Pistons after being traded to Detroit from Dallas in exchange for Adrian Dantley. Aguirre was a three-time All-Star for Dallas.
Presented are two Mavericks posters autographed by Roy Tarpley and Mark Aguirre. They were signed in black felt tip pen and blue ballpoint (Aguirre signed 2x) with the Aquirre having the inscription, “To Dave.” Both posters measure 23 x 35. They are rolled.
