Royce Clayton Game-Issued Cardinals Glove

It is never easy to replace a legend. Just ask Royce Clayton. In 1996, Clayton had the unenviable task of replacing Ozzie Smith at shortstop. The slick fielder was issued this 12″ Rawlings Gold Glove series glove while with the Cardinals. The glove, with a Trapeze web and red lacing, shows minimal wear and is being marketed as game-issued. Clayton’s name is embroidered in yellow on the thumb. A red Rawlings manufacturer’s logo is sewn on the wriststrap. Rawlings’ circular emblem appears near Clayton’s name.
