Description
Salvador DalÃ’s artistic repertoire included painting, graphic arts, film, sculpture, design and photography, at times in collaboration with other artists. He also wrote fiction, poetry, autobiography, essays and criticism. Major themes in his work include dreams, the subconscious, sexuality, religion, science and his closest personal relationships. To the dismay of those who held his work in high regard, and to the irritation of his critics, his eccentric and ostentatious public behavior often drew more attention than his artwork.
Presented is autographed Salvador Dali art. It is a woodgraving in color on BFK Rives paper (watermark). It was signed in pencil by Dali (“9″). It is one out of 100 images from the Divine Comedy of the limited edition of 50 – The Climp up Geryon 1952 9-5/8″ x 7-1/8″ – 10″ x 13” overall. It was published by Les Heures Claries, Paris in 1960.
