San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl XIX Replica TrophyGo Back
Bill Walsh took over a downtrodden 49ers organization in 1979, and quickly reversed the team’s fortunes. He won three Lombardi Trophies, set up a fourth and many of his hand-picked players won a fifth Super Bowl title. This replica Lombardi Trophy pays tribute to the 49ers dominance.
Super Bowl XIX was between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Miami Dolphins and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion San Francisco 49ers to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 1984 season. The 49ers defeated the Dolphins by the score of 38–16, to win their second Super Bowl. The game was played on January 20, 1985, at Stanford Stadium, on the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, California, the first Super Bowl played in the San Francisco Bay Area.
One side of the base has a placard, reading “San Francisco 49ers Superbowl Champions.” Weighing a very substantial 8 pounds, this very visual display piece stands 17-3/4″. As for the general condition, we advance this piece as NM by virtue of a nice base and chrome-plated finish which has minor handling/storage wear.
