Description

Back in the 1990s, the East Coast vs. West Coast rap battle raged on. Whether the beef was real or some sort of genius promotional gimmick we will never know. Many of the people who could have answered the question are now gone. Within a short period of time we lost two of the most influential hip hop artists in Biggie and Tupac. During the 1990’s, the musical influence of Snoop Dogg echoed through the radio and MTV (back when it was about the music) and had an impact on the hip hop culture.

Production insiders often have a chance to rub elbows with celebrities and /or musicians when doing award shows, television shows or movies. This item originated from a production manager who helped set up Snoop’s record and all his concert tours. This piece of hip hop history commemorates the RIAA Platinum Certified Sales of Snoop’s “Doggystyle” album which sold over $4 million copies at the time (it is over $11 million now). As shown on the plaque, the display was given to Vince Servidio of Family Productions. It must be noted, that the display (28″ x 39-1/2″) shows interior wear from the re-positioning and movement of items in the frame including sticker remnants etc.

All displays are sold as is without warranty to the condition of the frame.
