SOLD 1966 The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ‘Thrushbuster’ Corgi Toy Car with Original Box & Waverly Ring

Needless to say, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." was a popular American television series that ran on NBC from 1964 to 1968. The shows popularity inspired a vast array of toys and related spy gadgets. Offered here is a MINT in box Corgi Toys model 497, Oldsmobile Super 88 'Thrushbuster', the most sought after, Man from U.N.C.L.E. die cast car. Made in Great Britain in 1966, this collector’s toy is not a reproduction or restoration it is in its production state. It comes in the original box (inner and outer, which displays beautifully) and is in NM/MT condition. Also included is the original Waverley Ring, a truly hard to find item since most kids lost it or threw it away. All pieces are intact, and the "Firing" mechanism is still in working condition.
