Southern California Sun Football T-Shirt Lot (8)

Presented is a lot of (8) vintage Southern California Sun tee shirts. Five are white and three are yellow. They are all dead stock and feature the Sun logo on the front. Some show aging, mild marks and wrinkling from storage. They dates to the early era of the franchise. The ones that are tagged are marked white shirts (2) M 38-40) – (3) Boys L. Yellow – (3) M 38-40. Some of the tags may have fell off and/or falling off as they are delicately affixed.

The Southern California Sun were an American football team based in Anaheim, California that played in the World Football League in 1974 and 1975. Their records were 13-7 in 1974 and 7-5 in 1975. Their home stadium was Anaheim Stadium. They were coached by former Rams great and Hall of Famer Tom Fears and owned by trucking magnate Larry Hatfield. The team drew national attention for their magenta and orange uniforms.
