Description

One of the most determined fire-ballers on and off the field, Steve Carlton used a devastating “out-pitch”, a hard-biting slider. He was known more for his fast ball than his thunderous bat, but Lefty seems to have been issued this game bat in 1985 with the Philadelphia Phillies. It is a Rawlings Adirondack model 434B that measures 34″ and weighs 33.7 oz. According to PSA/DNA Bats it is un-cracked and game-ready. His number “32” is marked on the knob end in black felt tip. Carlton also signed the bat on the barrel in black felt tip (“9”). This item includes a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA Bats.
