Steve Garvey LA Dodgers 1970’s Pullover Warm-Up

The Dodgers were famous for their use of a wide array of jacket and warmup styles. They ranged from snap-button front satin jackets to zip-front knit jackets with extended collars, to satin fleece bullpen parkas, to v-neck pullovers. This later descriptor is offered here as worn by star first baseman Steve Garvey. The material is unlined royal blue satin with stretch ribbed knit sleeve and waist cuffs, and a blue-white-blue braided v-neck. The traditional underscored Dodgers script front is sewn in white tackle twill with the usual red twill front number “6.” The back resembles the 70’s jersey with name arched over number, although the numeric font style is slightly different. The inner collar sports the WA Goodman & Sons [size] “44” label. The wear is solid and the unique pre-game style makes this Garvey representation rarer and more beautiful than an early-mid 70’s gamer.
