The 2001 Pro Bowl was the NFL’s all-star game for the 2000 season. The game was played on February 4, 2001, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The final score was AFC 38, NFC 17. Rich Gannon of the Oakland Raiders was the game’s MVP. Also in the game, Donovan McNabb started the third quarter by completing three passes for 58 yards, including a 17-yarder to Terrell Owens for the NFC’s first touchdown.
Presented is Terrell Owens’ game worn uniform (jersey and pants) from that game – the 2000 NFL Pro Bowl held on February 2, 2001. Pro Bowl jerseys are very rare in that they only made a few for the player as they had to be customized. This one was definitely on the field as it shows tremendous wear concentrated on the identifiers (soiling, scuffs, hit marks, loose threading etc.).
This one features “ALL STAR” in blue tackle twill across the chest with corresponding stars. Above it are two special game patches with one representing his team (49ers) and the other the game designation (2001 Pro Bowl Hawaii). His number “81” resides below in tri-color (white/blue/black) tackle twill. The sleeves also feature his jersey number along with 49ers patches on the shoulders. The back has his name “OWENS” on a nameplate and his number below. The front tail also has the NFL tag with size flaps – [size] 46 with 4″ L.B. (extra length)
To complete the uniform, his matching game worn pants are also included. The blue pants have great wear (red scuffs) and have NFL tagging in the waistband they are custom [size] 36 short – and have a handwritten “23” in black felt tip also near the tagging.

Interestingly, it was an item that came directly from the famous purchase of Terrell Owen’s Storage unit as reported by TMZ. Overall, it is a great game uniform from when the HOFer was a superstar in the heyday of his career. Heck, it even shows turf/hit marks. However, since it came out of the unit with the provenance of being owned and worn by Owens it makes it that more special.
A copy of the original purchase receipt will add proof and provenance.
