Terrell Owens Game-Worn Uniform 49ers Owned by T.O. COA 100% Authentic Team

Way back when, in the late ‘90s, Terrell Owens was a star on the rise, hoping to replace an aging Jerry Rice as the 49ers’ go-to guy. On the field he was talented…enigmatic…troublesome…charismatic all in the same breath. His amazing talent was rewarded when he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

Presented is one of his game worn road jerseys from his time with the San Francisco 49ers. It reflects that “go-to” spirit as it emanates unexpected superstar wear. Made of mesh in its entirety (save for the spandex side panels), it features highly elasticized, ribbed knit sleeve cuffs and a ribbed knit neck. The sleeve striping and logos are screened on, but all numeric identifiers are sewn on in three-color tackle twill red, black, gold, while the plated NOB is sewn on in two-color (red/black). The tail is cut and hemmed, as was the style worn by T. O. early on.

Fortunately, the labeling is present in the collar – Reebok 46 with a fabric content flag tag. A handwritten 4 is also on the flag tag in black felt tip as an identifier. The jersey shows truly remarkable wear, noticeable on the collar and on the screened on striping and logos. There’s true sweat discoloration present as well on the edges of the collar. The numerals have a multitude of dings, as well as thread fraying. There are also mild stains throughout. T. O. autographed the back numeral, making this an unusual superstar jersey, especially in light of its thorough and profound evidence of wear.

The matching white uniform pants are also included to make it complete. Tagging in the waist shows they are Reebok [size] 32 (handwritten S in black felt tip present) with custom flap indicating 1″ Larger Leg and 1″ Shorter Inseam. They also show heavy wear with some discoloration from wash.

Interestingly, this uniform came directly from the famous purchase of Terrell Owen’s Storage unit as reported by TMZ. Overall, it is a great NBA collectible by itself but since it came out of the unit with the provenance of being owned and worn by Owens it makes it that more special.
