Description

Tex Hill was an American fighter pilot and triple flying ace. He is credited with ​12 14 victories as a squadron leader with the Flying Tigers and another six as an officer in the United States Army Air Corps in WWII. He retired as a brigadier general. He died in 2007.

Presented is a first day cover (FDC) cachet signed by Tex Hill on the font in black pen. He added his rank as an inscription. The FDC is for the Badge of Honor – Honorable Discharge Emblem dated to May 9, 1946. It was encapsulated and authenticated by Beckett.
