SKU: 36251 Category:

1967-1970 Compilation (Capitol SEBX 11843) was originally released in 1973 on the Apple Records label. Five years later the disco-inspired film “Sgt. Peepers Lonely Hearts Club Band”, which starred the Bee Gee’s with Peter Frampton, revived interest in The Beatles. Without any new material to release Capitol re-released the 1968 double album, The BEATLES (a.k.a. The White Album) on white vinyl, with the 1967-1970 on blue vinyl. The original Apple labels were substituted with custom-colored Capitol Records labels. These albums were a novelty at the time, but today they are highly sought after and very collectible. Included with these two gems is a copy of the rarer Abbey Road picture disc that was also released around the same time. Each album is not sealed but display very little or no play. All are in NM-MT condition.
