The Guess Who Tee Shirt Tour ’87 Concert VintageGo Back
The Guess Who is a Canadian rock band, formed in Winnipeg in 1965. Initially gaining recognition in Canada, the group found international success from the late 1960s through the mid-1970s with many hit singles, including “No Time”, “American Woman”, “Laughing”, “These Eyes”, “Undun” and “Share the Land”. The band have continued to perform and record to the present day, and at various times have included many well-known musicians, including Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman (of Bachman–Turner Overdrive). Formed as a garage rock band, their musical style encompassed the pop rock and psychedelic rock genres.
Presented is an original concert tour tee shirt from The Guess Who 1987. The shirt is vintage long sleeve and measures 18.5″ across the chest and the 24″ from top of collar seam to bottom. Vintage tagging is by Screen Stars (L). Nice Canadian beaver design on the front with band name down sleeve and Guess Who’s Back ’87 on back.
This lot is from the T-Shirt collection from the estate of Chuck Landis (aka Largo) veteran promoter, concert best known as co-founder of the Roxy West Hollywood rock club in the early 1970’s and in the 1980. Many of the T-Shirts come from performances that were at the venue. They have been locked away for many until now.
The Rox bar was a regular hangout for John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Alice Cooper and Keith Moon Heidi Fleiss in the 1980’s. So you can only imagine what stories can tell?
