In April 2006, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill began their 73-concert 55-city Soul2Soul II Tour, again to strong commercial acceptance. The tour grossed roughly $89 million and sold approximately 1.1 million tickets, making it the top-grossing tour in the history of country music. It was also named “Major Tour of the Year” by Pollstar, beating out such heavyweights as Madonna and the Rolling Stones. In a special gesture, the couple donated all of the profits from their performance in New Orleans to Hurricane Katrina relief.
Presented is a pair of black leather cowboy boots that Tim McGraw wore during his concert tour. They date to the 2006 Soul2Soul II Tour. They were scuffed up on the bottom on concrete by staff members so he would not slip on stage. They show heavy wear and are [size] 9.5 with the branding of J.C. Chisholm that has been worn.
It’s always tough to find anything worn on stage from an entertainer. The source of the Tim McGraw stage worn item collection worked hand in hand with him for over 10 years. All the credentials of the source were vetted and they provided us copies of tour books. Any tour books shown belong to the team staff and they are keeping them in their possession, however, they helped verify the provenance.
