Tino Martinez Signed, Game-worn 2002 Cardinals Batting Helmet w/Darryl Kile Sticker

The bigger the stage, the better Tino Martinez usually was at the plate. The man who made a name for himself with the New York Yankees ended up in St. Louis following the 2001 season, when he continued with his stellar play there. This special size-“7 3/8” helmet was worn by him during the latter portion of the 2002 campaign. It features a special Darryl Kile sticker on the right side in tribute of the late Cardinals pitcher. Considerable scuffing is evident on the helmet, and there are a number of dirt marks that suggest moderate use. The right ear flap has broken off at the halfway point. An MLB emblem sticker and uniform number “21” decal can both be found on the verso. The subject signed “9” signature on the helmet.
