Description
Tony Perez helped power the Big Red Machine to a number of World Series titles. After the well-oiled machine began to break down, the players scattered and found success in different cities. Perez left Cincy for Montreal in 1978. This flapless [size] “7 1/4” helmet was worn by the Hall of Famer in the late ’70s when he took his game north of the border. A “24” decal is applied to the verso . Montreal’s unmistakable emblem is applied to the front. Numerous scratches have found their way onto the face of the helmet. The leather headband is still intact and shows it was heavily used. A great relic from one of baseball’s good guys.
