Description
The film Troy is loosely based on Homer’s “Iliad” in its narration of the entire story of the decade-long “Trojan War” condensed into little more than a couple of weeks, rather than just the quarrel between “Achilles” and “Agamemnon” in the ninth year.
This is a helmet from the 2004 movie “Troy”. It is very decorative with leather laces to keep in place. The film designation is in the interior via black felt tip designated with a “16”.
These items originated from the company Backlot Props and Costumes. Backlot Props and Costumes were based in Burbank, California. They warehoused costumes and props from the major movie studios. The company liquidated their assets in 2010 and these were part of the acquisition of tens of thousands of original costumes and props. These are now available for the first time publicly.
