American Tobacco Company had more than baseball card premiums in production in the early 1900s. From 1910-12, the Sweet Caporal brand produced 7/8″ sepia-colored baseball player pins. In this collection, there are 29 pins. The “large letter” variations on the front portrait are more difficult to find. Also, the backings come in variety of colored paper. The red backings are more uncommon than the others. The overall condition of the front surfaces are EX/MT with noted exceptions.
