Two Jose Canseco Game-Worn 1980’s A’s Caps

Jose Canseco’s career got off to an action-packed start in the 1980’s with the Oakland A’s. He won the ’86 Rookie of the Year Award, the ’88 MVP Award, and teamed with Mark McGwire to form the ultra powerful home run hitting duo, the “Bash Brothers.” Featured here are two caps worn by Canseco with the A’s. The first, from his rookie era, shows little to no use. The inside features a New Era tag and [size] “7 5/8” flag tag. The slugger’s number “33” is written in black felt tip under the visor. The second of Canseco’s caps is from the 1980’s. The A’s cap exhibits light use, as there are traces of stains on the sweatband. The size tag has been worn out, and is unreadable. Once again, Canseco’s number “33” is markered in black under the brim.
