This is a 2000-01 Vince Carter Game-Worn Jersey. This jersey was sourced directly from an NBA former player and former GM and Professional Basketball team owner.
The jersey is dated for the 2000-01 season. Vince Carter wore the jersey during the 2000-01 season. The jersey was a carry-over into the 2001-02 season based on the 9-11 patch being added to the front chest.
At the beginning of the 2001 Season -the Raptors added the Unity patch for 9-11. So all 2001-02 Raptors jerseys would bear this patch. We would not necessarily qualify the wear on the jersey to the 2001-02 season, but rather the wear would come from the appropriate 2000-01 season.
The manufacturer label is sewn into the tail NIKE Swoosh tag and RAPTORS Tag is sewn on appropriately with the correct “52” size. Extra Length +2 flag tag is correct. Vince Carter wore +4 extra length however, +2 extra length was ordered for him and other shirts have appeared and been sold with +2 extra length.
“TORONTO” and “15” sewn on white/red tackle twill on front and “15” sewn on back. “CARTER” sewn on back in single color white font.
Wear is evident throughout the jersey with pilling, fabric and logo softness.
