Presented is a Tony Lupien (Ulysses John) Negro Leagues game used lathe bat from the mid-1930s. It’s a Hillerich & Bradsby side written U.J. Lupien 9.20.35 measuring 34.75″ and weighing in at 33.7 oz. The blank barrel bat shows heavy use with hit marks present and tape removed from the cracked handle. The lumber was signed in black felt tip (“9”) by 54 former players from the Negro Leagues. The bat will come with a letter from the promoter who did the signing.
