Description

Presented is a typed signed letter (TLS) from Hugo Black which is dated to June 17, 1965.  The letter is on his Supreme Court stationary and it is a response to an award request – Board Editors of WISDOM (Award of Honor). Black signed the letter in blue ballpoint pen after the salutation. The letter is displayed next to a black and white portrait photo with the entire display measuring in at 15″ x 21,5″.

Also in the lot is a typed signed letter (TLS) from William Brennan which is dated to October 8, 1986.  The letter is on his Supreme Court stationary and it is in regards to getting a book about Abraham Lincoln. Brennan signed the letter in dark blue pen after the salutation. The letter is displayed next to a black and white portrait photo with the entire display measuring in at 14.5″ x 20.5″.
