He held multiple world championships in two weight classes, having held the IBF and WBO junior welterweight titles between 2000 and 2004; the IBF junior welterweight title again in 2011; and the undisputed welterweight title in 2005, which included a reign as the lineal champion from 2005 to 2006. Judah’s career ended in 2019 when he was hospitalized after suffering a brain bleed in a stoppage loss to Cletus Seldin.

Presented is a Zab Judah fight worn custom gold and black Everlast boxing trunks with matching robe. Of course, it’s totally Judah’s flashy style as the black robe top features contrasting gold stars and the top portion has a crown for his head.

The trunks carry on the style showcased in the matching robe as they have an oversized “ZAB” on the right leg, as well as a Jewish star. The other bottom leg portion a sponsor logo (on the left) The Everalast label is central on the waistband. The back of the trunks waistband read “JUDAH” and has the sponsor patch “AZAD WATCHES”.

The shorts can be photo style matched to the fight against Ernest Johnson (Nov. 8, 2008).

The provenance letter includes details on how it was obtained. It was signed by the owner and reads, “My Uncle Michael Reed was friends with Zab Judah and Zap gave him these items as a gift. Zab ensured that he gifted his fight worn robes and trunks.

My Uncle Michael Reed passed away and then he left these items to me, William Reed.”
