1920’s Baseball Glove Mitt -Leather and Canvas

Presented is a sweet mid 1920’s PENNANT leather and canvas baseball baseman’s mitt! As the photos show, this awesome mitt is in great shape! The leather is soft and supple and still very strong. There’s some light surface wear and a small tear in the button hole on the wrist strap (see close-up) but that’s about it. The canvas is also in great shape. It feels like it was just made! All of the original edging and tying is present with just surface wear. The patina is 100% worn original. Marked on the palm is the PENNANT makers logo along with LUCKY BOY, GENUINE LEATHER, and the model # D 38 . The mitt measures 8 1/2″ tall X 9 1/4″ wide.
