Description

Presented is a vintage Detroit Red Wings game worn jersey. The dating is obscure because the Red Wings wore this style from 1957-58 and 1960-61. However, it is most likely closer to the 1961-62 season because the Red Wings switched from wool to a durene material and it features Olympic tagging.  Players who wore #20 during that time period were Bob Daily (1957-58), Len Lunde (1958-59 & 1960-61) and Bob Sulinger (1959-60). Everything about the jersey is original and there have been no alterations other than by the team. The jersey is tagged Lippman in the collar and a [size] 46.

The game wear is throughout and stick marks and exterior pilling on the right sleeve – the left sleeve features lots of exterior pilling. The front features outside pilling and a tear on the bottom hem. The verso features numbers in early style white tackle twill and a small hole on the bottom hem and tons of pilling. The inside also features pilling.
